Bow of the Beetle - chunky chyrscolla pendant

On the stranger side of design is allowing elements to come together for the sake of creating something different and inspiring. I had this piece of silver that I had etched a beetle image into long ago. Whatever reason I cut and filed it into this large shape is unbeknownst to me but it was how it was made. 
The large bow above it seemed more than suitable to form into a hanging mechanism to turn the silver slab into a pendant. The results are fun, flirty, unique and organic. 
The stone is a large chunk of chyrscolla and the entirety of the piece plus chain and clasp are sterling silver. The chain is approx 18”-19” in length.
